Style & Cloth
First impressions count and you will be aware that your appearance is of paramount importance, be it clean fingernails or a well cut suit. Whether your needs run to a classic two piece business suit with extra trousers, black tie or the latest in suiting fashion, Roy Duffy Personal Tailoring can accommodate.
When placing an order for a made to measure garment, one should always have a clear idea of the role the article of clothing will fill within your wardrobe. Do you require a suit for work, a jacket for shooting, or a button down oxford shirt for weekends? Is a medium or heavy cloth required for regular, year round wear, or is a light weight super 100 preferable for occasional, hot weather use? Once these decisions have been made, further options become clear. Taking a work suit as an example; is your workplace a very formal environment? If that is the case, a classic 2 show 3 double breasted, striped navy suit might well be appropriate. Or perhaps a certain level of informality is allowed? A high cut 2 button single breasted coat (potatoes have jackets, a suit has a coat) in a 9oz, pale grey, subtle prince of wales check allows you to wear open neck shirts as well as a tie. Further detailing can be decided upon to individualise the suit if required such as lining, lapel style and width, pocket angles etc, but by this point the really important decisions have already been made.
All of the options available will be clearly and simply described at the first consultation, allowing you to make an informed and educated choice, ensuring that you get a garment that will be right for you.
